History beckons for the Brisbane Heat with both our BBL and WBBL teams in Semi Finals action this week! The Heat meet the Scorchers in Perth in the WBBL's first semi.

The Heat have named an unchanged 13-player squad after defeating the Adelaide Strikers twice on the weekend.

HOW WE GOT THERE
The Heat and Scorchers finished the WBBL season level on eight wins and 16 points, with the Scorchers' superior net run rate giving them the top two advantage. 

The Heat scraped into the Semi-Finals in the most dramatic fashion possible after securing a super over victory over the Adelaide Strikers. 

HEAD TO HEAD
The Heat and Scorchers have met on four occasions, with the ledger reading two wins each. We have also played three times at the Furnace, with the Heat winning once. 

KEY PLAYERS

Beth Mooney has been superb for the Heat at the top of the order where she has smashed 469 runs to sit second on the competition run-scorers list. She has also been named Player of the Match an amazing five times in WBBL|02!

Having shown an amazing amount of courage to play against the Strikers after suffering a fractured cheekbone just three weeks ago, Deandra Dottin proved why she is the World Boss with a fabulous all-round performance in the Heat's super over win. The West Indian took two wickets in the super over to go with her 51 runs in a Player of the Match performance.

The Heat's spinning duo of Jess Jonassen and Jemma Barsby have enjoyed a stellar WBBL|02 campaigns, sitting fifth and sixth on the wicket-takers list respectively.
