The 2015-16 KFC T20 Big Bash League season absolutely owned by Brisbane Heat superstar Chris Lynn.
Captaining the club for the first time, Lynny finished the season as the competition's leading run-scorer and six hitter, while he was also named Player of the Tournament.
Lynny's highlight reel from the season included smashing his first T20 century against the Hobart Hurricanes and hitting an astonishing five sixes in a row against the Melbourne Stars at the MCG.
He is also the only Australian cricketer to have his own hashtag, with #Lynnsanity trending multiple times over the summer!
His standout performances saw him recalled to Australia's T20 International squad to play India following the BBL.
Lynny is the Heat's all-time leading run-scorer having been an integral part of the club since the competition kicked off five seasons ago.
He was a key member of the Heat side that won the BBL|02 title, and also featured in the My Foot Dr Queensland Bulls team that took out the Sheffield Shield in 2011-12.
Brisbane born and bred, he has two younger brothers and an older sister.
As a youngster, he was up for all sports, playing AFL, rugby league and rugby union, while his promise in cricket saw his Dad Col, a former Australian water polo representative, turn backyard blitzer to build a net in the yard at the family home.
On a day off from cricket he likes to jump in the car and drive to the Gold Coast for a surf or head out on onto Moreton Bay for a jet ski. He is a prolific twitterer under @lynny50.
