    Intro

Towering fast bowler Cameron Gannon has the potential to be an important player in the KFC T20 BBL in the future.

The athletic youngster took some big wickets in both four-day and one-day cricket for the Queensland Bulls in 2012-13, and was blooded for one game in the KFC T20 BBL.

He played the season-opener against the Hobart Hurricanes and then spent the entire series sticking close to the team and learned some invaluable lessons while travelling with the squad through the finals series.

Gannon continues to develop more and more power with his bowling – and batting.

Having grown up around the Camira region, halfway between Brisbane and Ipswich, he has always been a western suburbs boy. He plays his Grade cricket with Wests.

A baseball fanatic who has relatives in the United States, a favourite holiday destination, he has also enjoyed the experience of playing minor league cricket in England.

In what little spare time he has, 'Ganno' is studying to be a secondary school teacher. He will no doubt give the opposition a searching examination if he gets a chance in BBL|03.

"Has plenty of pace and bounce about him and improving every time he plays. Showed plenty last year and could be a bit of a secret weapon for us. " Darren Lehmann
