Tickets - Ground Entry & Timings

Food and beverages aren’t included in the price of VIP facilities.

Please note, VIP guests aren’t permitted to bring their own food and beverage into their purchased facilities.

Exclusive caterers for the Gabba, O’Brien Group, will be in contact with you regarding food and beverage menus, catering orders and procedures.

Please note, you are required to place orders no later than three (3) working days prior to match day.

Drinks can continue to be served for 30 minutes after the match ends. You are required to vacate your facility within an hour of the game finishing.

Please note, under responsible service of alcohol legislation, a personal steward must be present in VIP suites for the duration of each BBL match.

There is a four hour minimum, charged at $41.00 per hour (mid-week), $45.00 per hour (Saturday) or $49.00 per hour (Sundays). If no alcohol is served or consumed, a steward won’t be required. Note, stewards aren’t required in VIP outdoor boxes.

Refund Policy - Catering

If play does not commence due to rain & catering is cancelled on match day, you will be charged 50% of the total amount of food ordered.

No other catering refunds will be issued for cancellations less than two (2) full business days prior to the scheduled match.

Dress Code

The minimum dress code in all VIP facilities is smart casual. This means thongs or singlets aren’t permitted. Denim jeans and dress shorts are acceptable.


Children are very welcome in VIP facilities, however people under 18 years of age will need to be supervised by an adult / guardian.

All people, including children, must have an individual ticket to the relevant VIP facility.  

Refund Policy - Match tickets

You will be eligible for a refund of the ticket value (as shown on each corporate ticket) if less than 6 overs are completed during the match and there is no result recorded in the match.   

Free travel with Brisbane Transport and Queensland Rail

Public Transport is the best way to get to the Gabba on event days.

VIP Customers with pre-purchased event VIP facility tickets can travel free to and from the game at The Gabba on all network-wide Brisbane Transport buses and Queensland Rail City Network trains (excluding RailBus and Brisbane City Council Ferrier/City Cats).

You will be required to present your Match Day VIP ticket to make use of this complimentary service.

By Rail
Park Road (on the Cleveland, Gold Coast and Beenleigh lines) is the closest train station to The Gabba. The station is approximately a 1.3km walk from the venue.

Alternatively, catch a train to either South Bank or Roma Street stations and connect with a Gabba bus service to the Woolloongabba busway.

By Bus
The Gabba is conveniently located across the road from the Woolloongabba Busway, providing excellent bus connections across Brisbane.

In addition to the regular bus services, on major match days an enhanced shuttle bus operation is in place.

Parking / Taxis

There is no public parking at the Gabba. The closest car parks are at the Mater Hospital and Southbank.

Note that parking restrictions apply on match days in The Gabba Traffic Area. On-street parking is restricted to 15 minutes unless otherwise signed.

On-the-spot fines will be issued to offending motorists and vehicles will be towed from designated TOW AWAY zones.

A taxi rank is located on Wellington Rd outside the East Brisbane State School.

Other Information

Lifts at the Gabba provide wheelchair access to all corporate areas.

Anti-smoking legislation means that all patrons must exit the ground to smoke.
