BBL|07 Tickets On Sale

16 October 2017

The hottest tickets this summer are on sale now for the Brisbane Heat.

Tickets went on sale today through for the Heat’s five home matches at the Gabba, including a double-header with the Rebel WBBL Heat on the Australia Day long weekend.

Entry level ticket prices remain unchanged and family-friendly for the seventh straight season, from $22 for adults, $8 for kids, and $48 for families, with the same general reserved pricing for double-header matches.

The Heat will host the Melbourne Stars, Sydney Thunder, defending champions Perth Scorchers, Hobart Hurricanes and the Melbourne Renegades at the Gabba these school holidays with the first home match against the Stars on 20 December.

Brisbane is coming off a summer of record highs last season, featuring five sold out home games including a semi-final that featured a new crowd record of 35,116 and its highest-ever membership base.

The semi-final crowd meant the Heat attracted 171,877 to its four regular home games as well as the final, with its season average 34,375.

Heat General Manager Andrew McShea said fans who purchased early would give themselves the best chance of securing a spot for the big games ahead.

“We’ve seen the trend of early sales really lift in the past few seasons as fans lock in their preferred seats at all the home games and pre-purchase,’’ he said.

The tickets on sale announcement comes as the Heat confirm that Membership sales are 20% higher this year compared to the same time last season, while VIP and Corporate Hospitality sales are also well ahead in year-on-year comparison.

The BBL regular season now comprises of 40 matches, increased from 32 matches in BBL|06, in addition to the existing two Semi Finals and the Final.

Matches are to be played across school holidays, and the full season will be broadcast live on Network Ten and across the Macquarie Radio Network.

Building on the excitement of another impressive broadcast schedule, 12 matches of the Rebel WBBL will also be broadcast live on Network Ten, with the remaining 47 matches livestreamed on the CA digital platforms – and the CA Live app.

Once again, Brisbane Heat fans will be able to purchase tickets at the CUA Pool Deck for each of the five home matches including a double-header with the Rebel WBBL Heat on the Australia Day long weekend.

Pricing for the CUA Pool Deck will be advised shortly with tickets on sale in that area in late November.
