Bring the Heat 2.0 Launched

The Brisbane Heat is aiming to capture the energy and spark generated by attending a club home game in a refreshed 2019-20 KFC Big Bash League brand campaign launched today titled #BringTheHeat 2.0.

 

The campaign for the BBL|09 season is an extension of #BringTheHeat that was launched in 2018-19 and created after the Heat completed off-season research with fans and players.

Bring the Heat was chosen as the club’s brand slogan as a reflection of how fans and players feel about the Heat.

For the Heat’s players, Bring the Heat means playing the game with freedom, passion and expression.

For fans, Bring the Heat reflects everything they love about attending BBL games at the Gabba and Metricon Stadium – colour, energy, excitement, family-fun and fireworks.

To develop the campaign, the Heat’s marketing and creative team undertook a night shoot at the Gabba to capture the action fans have come to experience at a club home game with an emphasis on high-energy lights, fireworks and pyrotechnics.

The result is a vibrant branding campaign with a call to action for Heat members and fans to bring their passion and energy to the Gabba and Metricon Stadium this summer.

#BringTheHeat will continue as the Heat’s hashtag on social media where they are the most followed Australian sports club across Faceboook, Twitter and Instagram.

On the field, the Heat’s squad is highlighted by two-time BBL Player of the Tournament Chris Lynn, exciting young talent in Max Bryant and Matthew Renshaw, veterans Ben Cutting and Joe Burns, and the incoming global superstar AB de Villiers.

The club open the BBL|09 season against the Sydney Thunder on Tuesday December 17 and play five games at the Gabba and two at Metricon Stadium on the Gold Coast.
