WHICH HEAT PLAYERS ARE INVOLVED?
Chris Lynn, Brendon McCullum and Ben Cutting will all return to the IPL having been mainstays in the competition for the past few years.
Lynn will be back in Kolkata colours after a 2017 campaign that saw him hit 295 runs at a strike-rate of 180 and highest score of 93 not out. Lynn looks set to be fit for the tournament after injuring his shoulder in Australia's recent T20I tri-series final against New Zealand.
Cutting, Man of the Match in the 2016 IPL Final with Sunrisers Hyderabad, heads to his third IPL franchise in the Mumbai Indians where he will be joined by Heat Strength Coach Paul Chapman and former Heat Assistant Shane Bond.
Brendon McCullum will continue his long-standing relationship with Heat coach Dan Vettori at the Royal Challengers Bangalore who also boast Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers in their squad.
Former Heat skipper and now Assistant James Hopes will undertake his first coaching assignment in the IPL when he links up with the Dehli Daredevils as bowling coach.
