WATCH: Lynn clears the Gabba!
Lynn, one half of the Brisbane Heat's 'Bash Brothers', made his ODI debut in January against Pakistan, however injury forced him to miss the rest of the five match series and the Heat's BBL|06 finals campaign.
He returned to action for the myFootDr Queensland Bulls in March before departing for a stint in the Indian Premier League with the Kolkata Knight Riders.
His IPL campaign started in true Lynnsanity style, clubbing 93 not out off 68 balls in a man-of-the-match performance against the Gujurat Lions before injury struck again, damaging his shoulder diving for a catch in KKR's second match.
Having stayed in India to complete his rehab, Cricket Australia's medial staff are confident Lynn will be available for the Champions Trophy and will continue to monitor him before the squad departs for the UK on May 18.
Considered to be international cricket's premier one-day tournament behind the World Cup, the Champions Trophy call-up marks a significant achievement for the powerful batsman who was named the Big Bash League's Player of the Tournament for the second straight season after hitting 309 runs from five matches at an average of 154 and strike-rate of 177, including an astonishing 26 sixes.
