The CUA Pool Deck has been a massive hit with fans during its first two seasons at the Gabba, with tickets in the area having sold out for 9 of the ten games since it was installed for the 2016-17 summer.
Tickets for the CUA Pool Deck go on sale today through Ticketek and remain unchanged for a third straight season at $100 per person.
The CUA Pool Deck features a six by eight metre tiered pool and two large tiered decks with seating, tables and shade, allowing fans the experience of taking a refreshing dip in the pool while enjoying the world-class entertainment of a Brisbane Heat game at the Gabba.

Brisbane Heat General Manager Andrew McShea said the return of the CUA Pool Deck was part of the club’s strategy to delivery family-friendly entertainment and match-day experiences.
“The CUA Pool Deck has become an important element in our game day offering for the past two seasons and we are excited to announce it is coming back for the 2018-19 summer.
“There is no other city or stadium in the country where fans can watch live sport from the unique comforts of a pool, and we believe it perfectly encapsulates everything we love about the Big Bash League.
“Each season we introduce a new element to our show to keep game day fresh for fans. In the past we have had Rocketman, a hovercraft and most recently a world-class innings-break light and fireworks show. This summer will be no different, and without giving too much away, we think our partnership with Village Roadshow Theme Parks will take our family entertainment to a new level,” Mcshea said.
The Heat will play an expanded 14-game BBL home and away season in 2018-19, which will feature five games at the Gabba and two at Metricon Stadium on the Gold Coast.
The Gabba will open the BBL|08 season when the Heat host a BBL / WBBL Double Header on Wednesday the 19th of December, followed by two games at Metricon Stadium, including a New Year’s Day match against the Sydney Sixers.
Interest for the season remains high, with Brisbane Heat memberships 89% sold out and tickets for games in Brisbane and the Gold Coast selling well.
The Heat have enjoyed sell-out crowds for nine of their past 11 games at the Gabba, so fans are encouraged to pre-purchase tickets through Ticketek to avoid disappointment.
As announced last week, the Pool Deck will also return international games at the Gabba this summer, starting with Australia’s T20 International against India on the 21st of November.
