One change for Hobart return clash

14 January 2018

The Brisbane Heat has recalled left-arm pace bowler Josh Lalor for tomorrow night’s vital KFC Big Bash League match against the Hobart Hurricanes at Blundstone Arena.

Lalor returns from a fractured thumb and will replace Jack Prestwidge in the only change to the 13-man squad that took on the Hurricanes at the Gabba last week.

The experienced left-armer has played four matches so far for the Heat, claiming 3-40 in the New Year’s Eve loss to the Adelaide Strikers.

The Heat lost on the final ball to Hobart with tomorrow night’s rematch shaping as a key game for both teams as the race to the finals intensifies.

Brisbane go into the match in fourth spot, with matches to come against the Sydney Sixers at the SCG on Thursday before taking on the Melbourne Renegades at home on Saturday 27 January.
