The cocktail fundraiser, which is a sell-out event each year at the Gabba, raises funds for ovarian cancer research and patient support. With only 100 spots up for grabs, tickets to the event at Harrup Park Country Club are predicted to sell fast.
Coinciding with the WBBL Brisbane Heat match against the Melbourne Renegades, event goers can cheer on the girls in style, while enjoying a 4-hour drinks package, roaming canapes, raffle prizes and appearances from guest speakers.
Brisbane Heat WBBL wicket keeper and OCA ambassador, Dr Georgia Redmayne, said Teal Heels is not only a great way to support the girls on the field, but also the perfect opportunity to catch up with friends and dress up for a good cause.

“Mackay is such a vibrant and tight knit community, and we’re are so excited to have our very own Teal Heels event up north as we take on the Renegades.
“Having worked in oncology and palliative care units, this cause sits very close to my heart. I have seen first-hand the devastating impact ovarian cancer has on patients and loved ones.
“The Brisbane Heat and OCA have together raised an incredible $85,000 and by bringing Teal Heels to Mackay, we hope to raise the bar and spread further awareness throughout the regions for Australia’s most deadly female cancer.
“So round up a group of friends for some canapes and cricket! We’ll be sure to put on a great show for everyone.”
Tickets are currently on sale for $155 and can be purchased via Event Brite here.
