WBBL Heat Aim High

13 November 2020

The WBBL Brisbane Heat have made one change to their squad for tomorrow's important clash with the Adelaide Strikers.

Batter Mikayla Hinkley drops out of the 13-player squad with pace bowler Nicola Hancock returning to the squad after being rested for Brisbane's win over the Sydney Thunder on Wednesday night.

The Heat will be tested over the next week, with tomorrow's clash the first of six games in seven days for the team.

As well as the Strikers tomorrow, the Heat tackle the Hobart Hurricanes on Sunday at Drummoyne Oval before having Monday to prepare for back-to-back matches on Tuesday and Wednesday against the Sydney Sixers and Perth Scorchers.

Brisbane then have their final two regular season games on Saturday and Sunday against the Melbourne Stars and Renegades respectively.

The Heat currently sit in sixth spot but will have ample chances to contend for a spot in the Finals.

Tomorrow's match will see the Heat return to Drummoyne Oval, the venue of the team's inaugural championship title when they overcame the Sydney Sixers to clinch the first of their back-to-back championships.
