WBBL Heat Seek Boost

10 November 2020

The WBBL Brisbane Heat will take on the Sydney Thunder tomorrow night at Blacktown with the two-time champions chasing a morale-boosting result in the rebel Women’s Big Bash League.

Brisbane have made one change to the squad that lost to the unbeaten Melbourne Stars on Sunday, with Australian allrounder Delissa Kimmince returning to the squad after being rested on the weekend, and pace bowler Nicola Hanock missing the match due to workload management.
Included in the 13-player squad is allrounder Charli Knott who having completed her Year 12 exams inside the bio-secure Village, would make her Heat WBBL debut if chosen in the starting team.
Batters Georgia Redmayne (65) and Grace Harris (81 not out) are coming off strong batting efforts from the Heat’s past two losses while captain Jess Jonassen needs just 24 runs to pass 1500 career WBBL runs for the club.
The Thunder are sitting second while the Heat currently sit in 7th spot, two wins outside of the top four.
