The WBBL Brisbane Heat have made one change to their squad for tomorrow's important clash with the Hobart Hurricanes at the UTAS Stadium at Launceston.

Pace bowler Nic Hancock will be rested for the clash, with ACT Meteors teammate and fellow quick Zoe Cooke coming into the 13-player squad.

The Heat won a rain-affected thriller over the Adelaide Strikers yesterday, with their five-run victory lifting them to the top of the Weber Women's Big Bash League ladder.

Cooke is in her first season with the WBBL Heat after successfully fighting back from a serious back injury earlier this year. She would make her WBBL debut if chosen to start against Hobart.

Ipswich batter Ellie Johnston made her Heat debut yesterday and if she plays tomorrow, will go head-to-head with her cousin and club teammate Ruth Johnston who signed with Hobart before the WBBL season.

Tomorrow’s game starts at 3.50pm(Qld time) and will be covered live on KAYO, Foxtel and ABC Radio and scored live through cricket.com.au

The two teams will meet again on Saturday in Launceston.
