Mills Into Squad for Crucial Sydney Trip

15 November 2019

The Brisbane Heat has made one change to their squad of 13 for this weekend's crucial round of rebel Women's Big Bash League matches in Sydney, with Sandgate-Redcliffe seam bowler Lily Mills coming in for Charli Knott.

The Heat play the Sydney Thunder on Saturday night at Drummoyne Oval before backing up on Sunday morning against the Perth Scorchers. The Thunder clash will be broadcast live on 7Mate, Fox Cricket and Kayo, while Sunday morning's game will be streamed via Kayo and the Cricket Network.

The Heat currently sit on top of a congested WBBL table on net-run-rate, with the top four teams all registering five wins and ten points to their name. Only one win separates the top six heading into this weekend's fixtures.

Heat star Beth Mooney will be aiming to consolidate her blistering start to the WBBL season where she sits on top of the run-scorers list with 441 runs at an average of 88.
