New Zealand star allrounder Amelia Kerr will pull on the Brisbane Heat jersey for the first time in WBBL|05 after setting the international cricket world alight over the last few years.
Aged just 19, Kerr will be a player to watch as an exciting batter and leg-spin bowler. She is a prodigious talent, who despite her young age, has already played 53 games for New Zealand after making her international debut in 2016 as a 16-year-old.
At age 17 she smashed the highest score in women’s One Day International cricket history when she hit 232 against Ireland. In the same she took 5-17 with the ball – not a bad day at the office.
