NESER BACK FOR KEY CLASH | Heat Take On Hurricanes

The Brisbane Heat has welcomed back Ashes hero Michael Neser for tomorrow night’s vital KFC Big Bash League clash against the Hobart Hurricanes in Hobart.

Neser joins fellow Australian Test players Usman Khawaja and Marnus Labuschagne in the 13-man Heat squad named today to take on the defending titleholders, which currently sit on top of the BBL ladder.

It will be Neser’s first game of BBL|15 and comes as the fifth-placed Heat face a simple equation to lock in a spot in the Finals – win both of their remaining games.

He is the only change to the Heat squad that defeated the Sydney Thunder before a sold-out Gabba crowd on Saturday. Neser replaces Oli Patterson in the squad with Colin Munro dropping out.

The Heat play their final home game on Sunday at the Gabba against the Sydney Sixers with the match announced as the club’s third sold-out match in a row.

Tomorrow’s match will be broadcast and streamed live on Channel 7 and 7Plus, Foxtel and Kayo, and covered on ABC Radio and SEN.
