Backyard to Big Bash

Choose from plenty of December and January programs!

The Brisbane Heat's Backyard to Big Bash program is the ultimate opportunity to meet and experience a day in the life of our Brisbane Heat superstars! Participants will have exclusive opportunities to design their own jersey, commentate their favourite Brisbane Heat moment, take classic catches & play modified Cricket games.

Cricket activities will be delivered by Queensland Cricket accredited coaches. This program will utilise Brisbane Heat player facilities in the National Cricket Centre and Allan Border Field including: Indoor Cricket Nets, Player Lounge, Gym and Function Room. Parents are welcome to work from the Players’ Lounge, with plenty of desk space, modern kitchen facilities and lounge seating available. A coffee and breakfast wrap deal will be available at the Keeper's Cafe onsite.

Brisbane Heat’s indigenous artwork was collaboratively designed by WBBL player and proud Kunja woman Mikayla Hinkley and Brisbane Indigenous artist, Delores McDonald (“Aunty Delly”).

The centre circle represents the Gabba, alongside other water holes which used to be near the ground. 87 black strokes on red earth represent the wickets taken by Aboriginal great, Eddie Gilbert who played 23 games for Queensland.
