POOLWERX DIVES IN WITH HEAT | Renewed Partnership Confirmed

The Brisbane Heat and Poolwerx have announced a two-year extension of their Major Partnership, reinforcing their shared commitment to bringing families together and creating memorable experiences both on and off the field.

Poolwerx, the largest pool and spa maintenance network across Australia and New Zealand, will continue as a Major Partner of the Heat, supporting both the Women's Big Bash League (WBBL) and Big Bash League (BBL) teams over the next two seasons.

The Poolwerx brand will feature on the front of the playing and training apparel for the Brisbane Heat teams in the Weber Women’s Big Bash League and KFC Big Bash League for the next two seasons, while also having major signage and activation rights at all Heat home games.

Brisbane Heat CEO Terry Svenson said the renewal by Poolwerx was a welcome pre-season boost, with the Heat’s WBBL campaign getting underway on Friday night against the Sydney Sixers at Allan Border Field..

“It’s very exciting to confirm that the Heat and Poolwerx are continuing our valued partnership for another two years,’’ he said.

“We’ll continue to focus on our shared core beliefs of bringing families together and creating lasting memories of shared summer fun and enjoyment.”

“Poolwerx have enthusiastically embraced the opportunity to engage with Heat fans and we’re thrilled for them that it has been such a successful partnership to date,’’ Svenson said.

Poolwerx was started by founder John O’Brien in Brisbane in 1992 and has grown to become the world’s largest global pool care franchise.

The brand became a partner with the Heat in 2023 and assumed Major Partnership status for the 2024-25 and 2025-26 seasons.

Poolwerx Global CEO Nic Brill said the partnership had delivered strong value for the brand and its franchise network.

“Our partnership with the Brisbane Heat has been a fantastic platform to build brand awareness and connect Poolwerx with new audiences through one of Australia's most popular summer sports.

“As a leading franchise network, partnerships like this provide valuable opportunities to showcase our brand, support our franchise partners and engage with clients in new and exciting ways.

“We've seen great engagement over the past two seasons and look forward to building on that success over the next two years.”

As part of the renewed partnership, Poolwerx will continue to connect with cricket fans and communities throughout the Big Bash season, while promoting its Great Summer Staycation campaign.

The campaign encourages Australians to make the most of summer at home, enjoying quality time with family and friends around a healthy pool, while rewarding clients for choosing Poolwerx for their pool care needs.

Running until 31 January, the competition gives clients who spend $50 or more on Poolwerx products or services the chance to win incredible weekly, monthly and major prizes, including a brand-new Toyota RAV4 GR Sport Plug-in Hybrid.
