Indian star Yastika Bhatia will link with the Brisbane Heat squad in Sydney tomorrow for their Weber Women’s Big Bash League clash against the Sydney Thunder at Drummoyne Oval.
INDIAN STAR SET FOR DEBUT | Heat Look To Rebound
Bhatia replaces Mikayla Wrigley in the only change to the 13-player squad that played against the Sydney Sixers last night at Allan Border Field to launch their WBBL season.
The left-hander will make her Heat debut tomorrow after previously playing for the Melbourne Stars two seasons ago.
She was in action earlier this week for India as they completed their ODI series win over Zimbabwe.
Pace bowler Catherine White would also make her Heat and WBBL debut if chosen in the starting side.
The 19-year-old quick was a Local Replacement Player for the Heat last season without playing a game.
The Heat went down in a thriller last night at Allan Border Field, with the Sydney Sixers winning off the last ball after a superb final over by Australian left-armer Lucy Hamilton.
Tomorrow’s game will be shown on Channel Seven, 7plus, Foxtel, Kayo and broadcast on ABC Radio and ABC Listen App.
